Human Unreadable #77

Description: Human Unreadable blends choreography, code, generative art, and cryptography entirely on-chain. Each NFT is driven by the motion data of a unique choreographic sequence, hiding the human body in plain sight and asking, “What are you revealing when you reveal?”

Edition #77 belongs to the emotional climate “Just heard bad news,” one of six non-visual trait categories in the series. It carries nine discrete movement phrases and is part of the coveted first-100 cohort that will be performed live during Act III at a leading cultural institution in New York City in December 2026. The performance will translate its on-chain choreography back into the physical world, completing the work’s three-act arc.

About the series: Human Unreadable is a multi-year generative artwork series that merges performance, blockchain, choreography, and generative code into a three-act structure: Act I (May 2023): 400 generative NFTs created from choreographic algorithms. Sold out in less than 30 minutes via Art Blocks Curated, earning 350 ETH in primary sales. Act II (November 2023): For owners of Act I NFTs, this phase revealed the choreographic score underpinning each visual piece, representing stored and hidden human motion. Though fully on-chain in Act I, it became visible for the first time through a custom website developed by the artists. Act III (December 2026): A live performance based on the encoded sequences from the first 100 NFTs will be held at a leading cultural institution in New York City.
