Description: Link 2 (#4, #16, #20) is a series of a stop-motion sequence created through long-exposure photography, consisting of 22 generative loops, with each sequence comprising between 48 and 192 individual long-exposure photographs. Link was created through an elaborate mechanical process where each frame results from long exposure of an LED array moved by a drawing plotter, leaving precise light trails that accumulate into imaginary geometric forms. The geometric light-forms float in complete darkness, their trails leaving precise marks in physical space. What makes these images uncanny is seeing the reflections on the floor beneath, proof these aren't digital effects but actual light moving through actual space just like ephemeral sculptures made from nothing but light and time. Link 2 is a continuation of the Link series (2023-2025).
