• Education: University degree in Law, Banking, Business Administration or a related field. • Experience: A minimum of 5 years of experience within Compliance, Banking, Audit or other Regulatory or Risk Functions. • Hands-on experience in sanctions programmes, screenings and interpretation of trade controls. • Deep operational understanding of commodity trading, shipping logistics and trade finance instruments. • Expert knowledge of Swiss banking regulations (AML, CDB, FINMA) and sanctions frameworks (UN, EU, UK, US, Swiss sanctions). • Ability to interpret complex financial statements and corporate ownership structures. • High proficiency in IT system, Avaloq is considered a significant advantage. • Strong analytical skills with the capacity to work independently and assess complex cases, identify key risk drivers and reach independent conclusions. • Solution oriented approach. • Self-assertion, good communication skills and interaction with the Front Office. • Full professional fluency in both French and English (written and spoken). • Current residency in Switzerland is mandatory.
