For its 10th anniversary the Geneva Camerata presented the Crazy Marathon, A maelstrom of sounds, languages and cultures.

On the occasion of its 10 year’s anniversary, the Geneva Camerata, invited the audience to (re)discover its most iconic production. Unique musical experiences, blended together in a series of “Concerts Sauvages”. A maelstrom of sounds, languages and cultures, in the space of a day. The Geneva Camerata soloist and their special guests take the audience on a colorful journey through musical currents and regions of the world from Africa to West Asia, revisiting rock, flamenco, jazz-funk, and classical rock-pop.

The program:

  1. Africa – Sankoum Cissokho (voice and kora) and Geneva Camerata soloists
  2. Dreams of Kabul
- Mashal Arman (vocals), Ourania Lampropoulou (santouri), Siar Hashimi (percussion) and Geneva Camerata soloists
  3. Hommage à Radiohead
- Sun (vocals and electric guitar), Valentin Liechti (drums) and Geneva Camerata soloists
  4. Flamenco Fiesta -
Alberto Garcia (flamenco vocals), José Sanchez (theorbo and flamenco guitar), Ana Pérez (flamenco dance) and soloists from Geneva Camerata
  5. Funky Stevie Wonder
- Aurus (vocals), Valentin Liechti (drums) and Geneva Camerata soloists
  6. Beatles forever – Geneva Camerata soloists
